Amok cop guns down 4 teachers in Pangasinan school

Classes at a public high school was suspended on Monday afternoon after an amok policeman allegedly shot d**d four teachers and wounded four other teachers in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

The local police said a certain Police Officer 2 Domino Alipio assigned in Anda, Pangasinan went on a shooting rampage inside Pangasinan National High School with the use of an M16 rifle and a grenade around 3:40 p.m. of September 1. The shooting k****d four teachers two of whom were identified as Asedillo Sison and Florenda Flores.

The authorities said four other teachers of the school, two of whom were identified as Linda Sison and Jovito Jimenez, were also wounded in the attack. Alert policemen immediately a******d Alipio, an alleged money lender, after the fatal shooting incident. Alipio was reportedly collecting some debts inside the school when he figured into an argument with someone, which led to the shooting incident.

A criminal case is now being readied against the detained policeman for his crime.

Lingayen is a first class municipality in the province of Pangasinan on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It is the capital municipality and the seat of government of the province of Pangasinan. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 98,740 people. Lingayen was a strategic point during World War II. It is also the birthplace of President Fidel V. Ramos.
