Whitney Houston’s daughter found unconscious in tub 3 years after the singer died in a tub

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was found unconscious, face down in a bathtub two weeks before the 3rd death anniversary of her mother who was found dead in the same manner.

Bobbi Kristina was found by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend. Gordon performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on his wife while the friend called 911. Brown was limp and unresponsive when she was found.

In a statement, the police said Gordon performed CPR on Brown until police and paramedics arrived.

“Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive. He started CPR and a police officer took over lifesaving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Police spokesperson Lisa Holland said Ms. Brown was taken to North Fulton Hospital where doctors stabilized her breathing, but in a medically induced coma.

“Right now she’s still alive at the hospital,” Holland said.

Investigators are still determining what happened, but they are considering it as a medical incident. The police found nothing to indicate it was related to drug or alcohol use.

Holland, the police spokeswoman, noticed an oddity in the case: “Her mother died in the very same manner.”

Whitney Houston was found dead in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills, California on February 11, 2012 in a case of accidental drowning with the effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use listed as being contributing factors.
