- Salvador says that she is so overwhelmed to be called the ‘OPM Pop Sweetheart‘
Singer-Actress Janella Salvador has finally reached a milestone in the Philippine music industry as she launched her debut album on Friday.
In an article published by ABS-CBN News on December 4, it was disclosed that the 17-year-old celebrity said she cannot believe that she is now considered as a bona fide recording artist.
“It all came just so fast. Sometimes, I just cannot absorb that I’ve achieved this already – to have an album. I do not know what I have done to deserve this. All I do is just to enjoy everything. It is such an honor to be called the ‘OPM Pop Sweetheart’ because not everyone gets to have a title. It is so different and overwhelming,” Salvador said.
Last July, some of the songs included in her new album such as “Harana na na na na,” “Kapag tumibok ang puso,” and her carrier single composed by Jamie Rivera entitled, “Ganyan talaga” were released on Spotify.
Also included in her album are the songs “Tick Tock Love,” “Dear Heart,” “Teka Muna Pag-Ibig,” “I Can,” and “Mahal Kita Pero.”
Last month, Salvador was also surprised to know that Hong Kong Disneyland has chosen her to represent the Philippines in singing the theme park’s 10th anniversary theme song entitled, “Happily Ever After.”
Posting a photo of Disney Land on her Instagram account, the young actress said that the renowned creator of animated films never fail to amaze people like her.
“So honored. Dreams do come true, and Disney never fails to prove that. Happy Birthday, HK Disneyland,” the post’s caption stated.
