CALABASAS, California – Philippine veteran actress, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, has decided to sell her southern California home and offers it in the market for $2.2 million (P103.5 million).
Calabasas is a city in Los Angeles County, California located in the hills west of the San Fernando Valley. The city is in the northwest Santa Monica Mountains between Woodland Hills, Agoura Hills, West Hills, Hidden Hills, and Malibu.
An article by Claudine Zap for Realtor.com published on December 28 said that Cuneta might have had a change of heart on the property over the past year.
Last year, the actress posted photos of the six-bedroom home on her Facebook page; captioning it with: “Home. Thousands of miles away. Our ‘happy place'”; adding a smiley face emoticon.
The property, which was built in 1997, is a 6,610 square-foot (614 square-meter) stands with “a grand marble entry, custom library, chef’s kitchen with a breakfast room, formal living room with fireplace, family room, and numerous bedrooms.”
An article by Fox News published on December 28 said that the mansion also offers vast entertainment options. Outside the house is an expansive lawn and one can relax under a covered patio or cook up a meal on the grill.
There is also a pool and spa, and one will be amazed as it also includes a waterfall.
Cuneta reportedly bought the property as she had a connection to the area. She performed to a sold-out crowd in Los Angeles in 2005 and had vocally shared her plan to someday retire in the U.S.
However, the Megastar’s plan will not be happening in her Calabasas mansion as it will be open for willing buyers.
