Love, love, love — it makes the world go round, and timeless as it is, stories about love more often than not draw crowds at the cinemas, especially when it’s a romantic comedy.

Well, Star Cinema is banking again on  the universal theme  through “All You Need Is Pag-ibig” [All you need is love]; its  official entry to the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival. (MMFF).

Produced and distributed by Star Cinema for the the 41st edition of the MMFF, the romantic comedy film has in its ensemble stars like  ‘queen of all media’  Kris Aquino and her son with James Yap, Bimby Aquino Yap; the Filipino-British model, actor, host, and former VJ  Derek Ramsay; the KimXi loveteam – Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, plus Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracion.

All You Need Is Pag-ibig also marks the film debut of the Concio sisters; Julia, 5, and Talia, 3, who, by the way, are the grandchildren of ABS-CBN’s President and CEO  Charo Santos-Concio.

Helmed by director Antoinette Jadaone, the movie tackles the different love stories of the characters; tinged with humor and romance, especially as it also features comedienne Pokwang, and veteran actors, Ronaldo Valdez and Nova Villa.

Big stars in showbiz have come together in this movie to remind us that “there’s no need to be sad, all you need is to smile, all you need is kilig, all you need is pag-ibig.”
