A Facebook page defended actress Agot Isidro against people who are telling her to study first before criticizing the president.

Facebook page Silent No More cited an ABS-CBN News article which included Isidro in the list of celebrities who were achievers in school.

“Dear fellow Filipinos, para sa mga nagsasabi kay Agot Isidro na mag-aral muna siya [for those who are telling Agot Isidro to study first],” it said.

In the ABS-CBN News article, it was disclosed that the actress finished BS Interior Design in University of the Philippines-Diliman, took MA Communication in Ateneo de Manila University, and graduated magna cum laude in Fashion Buying and Merchandising at the  Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
Isidro is being criticized at present for posting her opinion on the recent tirades of Duterte against the United States and the European Union. The post, where Isidro said Duterte is not a bipolar but a psychopath, went viral. A lot of social media users criticized and even attacked the actress’ personal life; while some supported her bold move.

Earlier, actress Cherrie Pie Picache also defended Isidro.

“I know that you’re aware that recently, a colleague of mine na si Ms. Agot Isidro went viral because of her message and her opinion and her stand. Gusto ko rin pong sabihin na nakikiisa ako [I also want to say that I am one with her],” Picache said.

“Artista po kami. Nasa arts and culture kami pero may utak po kami at paninindigan at prinsipyo [We are actresses. We are in the field of arts and culture but we also use our heads and we have our own stand and principles],” she said. Picache and Isidro worked together on the drama series “Tayong Dalawa”.
