PNP’s latest update in war on drugs shows 1,323 suspects k****d; 21,682 a******d

Based on the latest update of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in the government’s intensified war on drugs, some 1,323 drug personalities have been k****d while  a total of 21,682 others were a******d.

The report covers the period from July 1 up to 6:00 p.m. of September 30, an article by GMA News Online stated.

As disclosed by the PNP, a total of 23,179 police operations have been conducted under the PNP’s Oplan Double Barrel which targets both big-time and small-time drug dealers during that time.

According to the latest tally some 47 drug suspects were k****d in one-and-a-half days.

The PNP, in its update on September 29, said 1,276 drug personalities were k****d covering the period from July 1 up to 6:00 a.m. of that day.

Meanwhile, the report noted that they have covered 1,478,621 houses under Oplan Tokhang during the same period. Under the program, police personnel personally visit the houses of suspected drug users in a certain community.

The house-to-house visitation has caused voluntary surrender of some 729,915 drug personalities to include 52,675 drug pushers, and 677,240 drug users.

On the other hand, the PNP report disclosed that as for the casualties on the side of government troopers, some 13 police personnel were k****d during operations while 36 others were wounded.

 As such, three persons were k****d in action while eight others were wounded on the part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
