MANILA, Philippines – To top it off, the cat was a male.
One local of Brgy. Sta Maria in Zamboanga City told ABS-CBN how she was approached by a female neighbor on Wednesday and was told that the latter’s husband had molested their pet cat.
According to the woman, her husband’s nonconsensual fornication with their feline companion transpired after they had a heated argument.
When she noticed that their pet had a wound in its rectal area, she immediately confronted her husband who admitted to the carnal act with the cat.
The listener said the woman then reported the matter to the authorities but clarified that she told them for the sake of it and won’t be pressing charges against her husband.
The police, on the other hand, said they could not book the suspect because of lack of evidence.
