MANILA – “I just want to say I love you… and…”
This is what the soon-to-be-groom said on a video shared by AirAsia group chief executive Tony Fernandes of an in-flight proposal on his Facebook page on Thursday.
He said the proposal happened during a flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
After the man in the video said those heart-melting words, he was seen approaching his girlfriend from the far end of the plane.
As he got closer and closer, the friendly flight attendants seem to comfort and congratulate the emotional girlfriend; sharing in the lady’s ‘kilig’ moment.
As he knelt down in front of his girlfriend to say the famous four words, he received a kiss from the bride-to-be even before the flight attendants finished holding up a sign that says “will you marry me.”
The clip shared by Airline Executive Tony Fernandes became a social media hit; getting 43,000 views on Facebook as of posting. He said on his shared post: “Great little video. On our flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa . We do all kinds of things for our guests. I see many but this cute video was real nice. Thank Cathy for the video.”
Thank you, sir Tony Fernandes, for sharing this story to us, and thanks also to the crew who helped the fiance’s plan to be a success. You are all always welcome to the Philippines!
