Bagnet, that crispy, tasty well-known and well-liked food of Filipinos seem to be the main soul of comedian Wacky Kiray’s ‘Manganen Bagnet House’ restaurant.

Even before he emerged as the winner of the first edition of talent competition “I Can Do That”, comedian Wacky Kiray has already made smart business investments, and one of those is his Bagnet-inspired restaurant located at the Marikina’s famed food-row, Lilac Street.

He decided to open a bagnet restaurant because he loves Ilocano food.

According to him, he found out Ilocano dishes are very delicious when he toured the entire place of Ilocos up to the town of Pagudpud.

He also claims that he is a meat lover; particularly pork.

Wacky Kiray opened his restaurant more than a year ago.

Just days ago, the Manganen Bagnet House had their 1st year anniversary promo; a mouth watering piso bagnet, yes, bagnet priced at one peso only, as a thank you to their valued patrons. Too bad we were too late to hear the news earlier as the promo only lasted June 15-17, 2017. As broken-hearted as you are, we’re sad to be informed late of the news, but don’t worry, at least now we know when and where to taste these yummy crunchies. Let’s just wish they’ll be in the country longer and expand more.
