Bea Binene expressed her joy over her long-time friend Barbie Forteza finally finding love this year with actor, Jak Roberto, and said “I’m so happy for her, finally!”

And in turn, this prompted the press to ask about the 19-year-old’s own love life.

People may recall her being linked with co-star Derrick Monasterio but she cleared that he has never made a move on her and theorized that he’s still probably busy. Nonetheless, they remain as close as ever and even consider each other as gym buddies.

“I’m in love with my family, with the fans. Ganu’n pa rin po eh. Wala lang,” came the young actress’ response during the press launch of iamClaire; a social commerce platform for millennial women, in Makati City.

She said she realized that being single isn’t so bad: “Na-realize ko na iba ‘yung happiness, iba ‘yung inspiration if you have someone. Pero iba rin ‘yung feeling, iba rin sa pakiramdam kapag masaya ka within yourself.”

The last relationship Bea had was with Jake Vargas which ended almost three years ago but the two still remained friends after their break up.

She also opened up about how she feels now that her recurring series on GMA, Mulawin vs Ravena, is about to come to an end. She said with how much time they have spent together, they already consider each other as family and having them around makes the job easier for her.

She shared just how close she is to the rest of the cast and said: “To the point na ayaw mong matulog dahil gusto ninyong magkuwentuhan. Ayaw n’yong magpahinga sa taping ‘pag hindi kayo kinukunan kasi gusto n’yong magkuwentuhan. Sobrang lucky ako to be in this family dahil minsan lang ‘yung ganyan eh.”

Bea then talked about her being chosen as the cover of iamClaire and reiterates its goal to empower women through beauty, health, wellness, and lifestyle tips and hacks.

She said she tries her best to influence people, women most especially, to love, respect and take care of themselves and to just be confident with who they are.
