Filipino Comedian Empoy Marquez continues to attract positivity with his side-to-side TV guesting and several other projects.

Julius Erman Marquez, or simply Empoy, is the eldest among 7 siblings. But this renowned comedian who makes people laugh by his simple yet chunky jokes also had a rough childhood.

In an interview on ‘Rated K’ last Sunday, Empoy’s mom Cecil Ramos shared how proud she is for her son’s sacrifices for their family and mentioned that Empoy Marquez even sent some of his siblings to school.

Mrs. Ramos also mentioned that at a young age Empoy was already very responsible. He would do the house chores, and look after his siblings. According to her, every time she comes home, the house had been cleaned, food had been prepared, and his siblings have already been bathed.

During his early years, Empoy also took the job of a photo album maker and a fastfood crew to make a living and send his siblings to school. “Siyempre ako elementary, high school kaya ko yun. Pag dating ng college, medyo mabigat na e, kaya (tinulungan) na niya ako. Napaaral n’ya yung ibang mga kapatid niya,” her mom who is a single parent added.

According to Empoy he is very lucky because in his 14 years in the industry there was never a chance where he wasn’t offered a project.
