Judy Ann "Juday" Santos was set to reconnect with old co-star Rico Yan for the sequel to the 1999 film Isusumbong Kita sa Tatay Ko.
According to an article written by James Patrick Anarcon of PEP, Santos and Yan would have completed their fourth film together in the early 2000s if the actor had not died in March 2002.
Santos revealed:
“„At that time, before Rico passed, dapat comeback movie namin ni Rico ‘yong part two ng Isusumbong… Ang alam ko ha, I’m not sure kung ano pero ‘yun ‘yung narinig ko na parang pagbabalik ng love team namin and then part two nga ng Isusumbong.- Judy Ann Santos
[At the time, when Rico died, we were supposed to have a return film, Isusumbong's Part 2... I'm not sure, but that's what I heard; that our love team will have a reunion film, which will be Isusumbong's part two.]
In fact, it was FPJ - whom the actress refers to as Tatay Ron - who suggested that Rico appear in the sequel.
She revealed:
“„Si Tatay Ron actually ‘yong nakaisip na dapat si Rico ‘yong maging partner (ko). And then Rico passed and then FPJ passed, ako na lang ‘yung natira.- Judy Ann Santos

In the 1990s, Yan and Santos were onscreen companions.
Isusumbong Kita Sa Tatay Ko
Boots Plata directed the 1999 Filipino action-comedy film Isusumbong Kita Sa Tatay Ko. The story revolves around "Badong" (FPJ), who has been parenting his only child, Joey, after his wife's death.
As a result, Joey grows up to be just like her father. She has a boyish appearance and acts like a male. Beth (Aileen Damiles), Badong's childhood friend, came to see them one day and they grew close.
