Killed 17-year-old boy from Caloocan, Kian Loyd Delos Santos, was the son of a candy vendor and an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) mom based in Saudi Arabia.

The story of Kian went viral all over social media especially when a CCTV footage that surfaced seemed different from what the police have reported.

Lorenza Delos Santos, 43, mother of Kian is now asking for justice over the untimely death of her son last Wednesday.

According to the police, Kian, a Grade 11 student, was a drug runner and was killed after he allegedly resisted arrest. However, officials in Barangay 160 where he resides denied that Kian was on their drug watch list.

Upon hearing her son’s death, Lorenza said she begged on her knees for her employers to allow her to go back to the Philippines as soon as possible. She was then permitted to leave and safely arrived at 3 a.m. Friday.

In between sobs, she would relay how she worked very hard abroad to send her children to school because she wants them to achieve their dreams. She couldn’t believe that this was what the police have done to one of her children.

She couldn’t stop crying as she shouts how people could not be able to bring his son’s life back; insisting that Kian had a good heart and deserved none of these because he was innocent and he was loved by many.

Lorenza calls for the help of President Duterte: “Nanawagan po ako sa Pangulong Duterte. Please naman po help. Mahirap lang po kami pero kailangan ko po ng hustisya. Sana po magkaroon ng hustisya para maniwala po ako diyan sa kampanya nyo na hinuhuli niyo at pinapatay iyong mga totoong drug addict. Hindi po drug addict ‘yung anak ko.”

She also said that Kian has always dreamed of becoming a cop but little did he know, they were going to be the one to kill him.
