Reynold Garcia, commonly known as the Pinoy comedian ‘Pooh’ shares a glimpse of his very own Lechon business.
Pooh owns the “Gara’s Lechon Bacolod” which is one of the food stalls at Yarda Food Hub located at Kingpoints Subdivision, Brgy. Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City.
Pooh said on Wednesday during ABS CBN’s show “Magandang Buhay”: “Matagal na akong fan ng lechon. Gustong-gusto ko talaga ng lechon. Gustong-gusto ko siyempre (ang lechon) ng Bacolod.” [I have long been a fan of lechon. I like it very much. What I like the most is Lechon Bacolod.]
“Yung Gara, galing ‘yan sa initials ng mga ka-partners ko,” [‘Gara’ came from the initials of my partners,] he added.
Pooh also shared that one of the people who helped him in his business is his friend and co-actor/actress Karla Estrada.
Aside from being an actor-comedian, Pooh is also an impersonator, singer, and host. He is known for currently starring in the comedy gag show Banana Split. One of his acts that sparked his career was his impersonation of boxer and congressman Manny Pacquiao.
He was the 2006 and 2007 awardee for Aliw Award best male stand-up comedian. He was again nominated in 2008.
