Last weekend, Angelina Jolie talked about various topics at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, USA, where she appeared as the director of her film, First They Killed My Father.
During this event, Angelina Jolie answered questions about her role as an actress, and confirmed that among her projects is to return to the sequel of Maleficent.
“Now I’m the breadwinner, so it’s about time,” Jolie added; referring to her separation from actor Brad Pitt.
“We’ve been working on the script and this is going to be a very powerful sequel,” Jolie reportedly said.
The screenwriter will be Jez Butterworth; however, so far not much is known about the sequel.
The first movie gained $ 758.5 million at the global box office.
About her being a single mother, she said she finds “nothing good” in her unmarried state following her separation from husband Pitt.
“There’s nothing that I like. It’s not something I wanted,” said Jolie, who stressed that there is no positive side to her new single, but quite the opposite.
“It’s only difficult,” said the actress, who explained that for a year she has not been able to shoot or direct films because she wanted to take care of her children.
