A couple’s wedding photo session turned into a rescue mission.

Clayton and Brittany Cook were posing for a wedding picture on a bridge in Ontario, Canada when the groom noticed a child in distress in a nearby river.

Regardless of his suit, Cook jumped into the river and pulled the boy to the river bank.

This rescue moment was captured by their wedding photographer and after that, this moment quickly went viral.

“For several minutes these kids were following us, and I was just keeping an eye on them because they were standing close to the water,” Clayton told BBC.

“Then while Brittany was getting her solo shots taken I realised only two were standing on the rock ledge.

“I saw the boy in the water struggling to keep his head up. That’s when I jumped down.

“I just kind of plucked him out and he was okay.”

The boy appeared to be OK, and the couple said he didn’t say a word after he was pulled out of the water.

Brittany said the quick response and unconditional action of her husband was one of the reasons that made her fall in love with Clayton.
