Honest Grab driver returns large amount of money, documents with the help of social media

A Grab Taxi driver had posted on Wednesday, August 30, a public service announcement in his sincerest attempt to find the rightful owner of the brown envelope left inside his cab last Tuesday night.

In his post, Melito Buban shared his Grab ID, and some photos showing the envelop which contains documents and a large amount of money. He asked netizens to help him share his post in the hopes to reach the owner.

“Ako po si Melito Buban, isang Grab driver. May pasahero po ako kagabi na nakaiwan ng brown envelope na may mahalagang laman na dokumento at malaking halaga na pera. Sana tulungan nyo ako ipaabot sa may ari. Please share this post. Maraming salamat po,” Buban posted.

A day after, he posted an update that the envelope was already returned to its owner. He is so grateful to all who helped him share his post.
