MANILA, Philippines – Now, it can be said. Atom Araullo is definitely going to the Kapuso network.
This after the GMA Public Affairs uploaded on its Facebook page on Wednesday a teaser video that shows a person driving a car and appears to be headed to the Kapuso headquarter.
While the video did not show Araullo’s face, the man cannot be mistaken for anyone else except the former ABS-CBN journalist.
Araullo has recently left the Kapamilya network; saying the time has come for him “to explore emerging opportunities and challenges beyond the organization.”
“Working with ABS-CBN for over a decade has been an amazing adventure. Although I am taking a new path, I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the company that helped me become the journalist I am today,” wrote Araullo on Instagram.
In a separate statement, ABS-CBN said it has allowed journalist Atom Araullo to explore new interests in film, broadcast and digital media outside of the company and wished him well for his decision.
“Atom says the training and exposure he got from the network as reporter and TV host have equipped him to try out other opportunities in the media industry here and abroad,” said ABS-CBN; adding Araullo will always remain a Kapamilya.
Meanwhile GMA urged its fans and followers to “keep watching because the big reveal happens on Thursday, September 21 during “24 Oras”.”
