- The farmers use different kinds of rice to form an image out of the rice growth
One of the Philippines’ most raved about love team has been dedicated an art that is truly rooted in the Filipino culture.
Recently, farmers from the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PRRI) in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija revealed a rice paddy art featuring the faces of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Rice paddy art is a technique that uses different kinds of rice that grows in different color to be able to create a portrait or a picture from the field.
This is not the first time this method was creatively used by the farmers in PRRI.
Previously, they have also made rice paddy artwork for another Kapamilya star Coco Martin and Pinoy movie legend, the late Fernando Poe Jr. The piece was a homage to the movie turned hit series Ang Probinsyano lead by these actors.
President Rodrigo Duterte also inspired two rice paddy masterpieces; one of which is side by side with the art piece dedicated to Vice President Leni Robredo.
