Nowadays, with the steady increase in population, it’s easy to find people to work for you but what’s hard is to find those whom you can really trust a hundred percent.
Rowena Palisoc was arrested by NBI Anti-Organized and Transnational Crime Division in a food chain in Cubao, Quezon City. She willingly went along when she was presented with a warrant of arrest issued by Rizal RTC, as reported by John Consulta of GMA News “Balitanghali” this Friday, September 1.
Not only did she steal from her former employer and her family but she also uploaded manipulated nude photos of her former employer and even went as far as to threaten her.
Adelaida De Lemos, the victim’s aunt was in tears when she said that no amount of money will be enough to compensate for what Palisoc did. She knows her niece and she knows she’d never do anything like that.
Palisoc tried to defend herself by saying that her Facebook account got hacked and added, “Bakit ako nag-post ng ganung picture? Hindi ko alam ‘yun kasi nananahimik ako, pinaalis nila ako dun sa kanila eh.” [Why should I post such picture? I know nothing of it, they made me leave.]
De Lemos immediately slammed her claims and said that she’s good at uploading photos; the Facebook name is hers and they have evidence readily available.
The NBI was able to recover several Facebook posts and messages from Palisoc that contain threats to her former employer.
Palisoc is now facing a charge for violating the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act.
