An employee of a fair was injured in a terrible work accident on Friday in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The man, who was trying to fix a broken Ferris Wheel, fell from the ride and suffered minor injuries.
At the time of the accident, two scared boys are clinging onto each other inside the carriage.
The terrifying moment was caught on camera around 9:45 Friday night at the Central Carolina Fair.
“Everyone was OK for the most part. I think maybe the little boys probably suffered from shock,” a worker said via Fox8. “They were pretty shaken.”
Central Carolina Fair spokesman Andrew Brown wouldn’t confirm whether any children were in the tilted gondola car at the time.
“We are waiting on the report from state officials with other details,” Brown told ABC News. “The worker was attempting to adjust that carriage so the wheel could be safely rotated to unload all the passengers safely.”
Officials with the North Carolina Department of Labor re-inspected the ride and approved it for use on Saturday.
