Oops, she did it again! Pinay “Wonder Lola” at 75 breaks 3 world records, bags 8 gold medals at Powerlifting World Cup

When people say she can’t do it, she says these words in her head: “Watch me!”

The Pinay “Wonder Lola” who broke a national power lifting record we featured in June has gotten even stronger.

Just this September, she slammed not only one national record. Yes, not one, not two, but three world records while competing at the amateur World Powerlifting Congress – World Cup in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Susie Rose, 75, won eight gold medals while breaking world records. She finished as the strongest in her age group in back squat, bench press and dead lift — with record-breaking lifts of 110, 77 and 220 pounds, respectively, during the competition held from August 31-September 2.

In a story by Balitang America, she credited her achievements to her 38 grandchildren and is not planning to stop her sport anytime soon.
