Nora, a white English Pointer (breed) was badly abused by her previous owners to the point that she was nervous about every other living being, as in, she was frightened of everyone. But that didn’t last forever when she found her best buddy.

Her current owner, Elizabeth Spencer, rescued her from a shelter seven years ago before having her kids. And now that Elizabeth has three children, one of them, Archie, developed a special kind of relationship with Nora and the two become best pals.

“Archie is an extremely laid-back, happy, good-natured baby and all the animals seem to really respond to that, particularly Nora,” Elizabeth tells the Dodo.

“He came from an abusive background and is afraid of almost everything. Not Archie, though. She absolutely adores him!” she added.

Elizabeth also said that the duo do everything together. “If Archie is having a bath, Nora is lying on the bath mat waiting for him to get out. If I’m nursing him she wants up on my lap, too,” she said.

Elizabeth documents her son and dog’s partnership on Instagram, sharing pictures of the duo playing, sleeping and doing anything together. And they have lots of followers – 101k to be exact as of this article’s posting.
