Former senator Bongbong Marcos has sent a warning against another fraudulent gathering that promises to distribute “Marcos gold.”
The gathering is supposedly set on Sunday, October 22 in Intramuros, Manila. Bongbong released a statement to clarify that it’s not true and his family has no involvement on the gathering.
[It has reached us that a gathering is being planned tomorrow at Intramuros, Manila to allegedly discuss the so-called “Marcos gold.]
[I am again reminding that we should not believe any statements of the group. It is nothing but a hoax for them to get money from our innocent supporters and the public.]
[To everyone, I am reiterating that we are not involved in the gathering and let’s not believe in this modus operandi.]
Back in September 23, thousands gathered in the University of the Philippines Los Banos as a certain group named One Social Family Credit Cooperative claimed that they will be distributing Marcos wealth. Its chair, Emmanuel Destura, known to his followers as “Red Dragon,” claimed that he has access to the hidden wealth. During the gathering, they would offer a guaranteed P1 million cash and livelihood assistance if they pay the P30 registration fee.
