Well, you might just get your heart mended with this good news from the George Lucas universe.
Director Ron Howard on Tuesday revealed in a Twitter video that they just wrapped up the production of an upcoming film all about the tale of the dashing member of the Rebel Alliance that captured the heart of Princess Leia.
“As we wrap up production I just want to take this moment to thank an incredibly talented cast and crew for all their hard work,” Howard said in the video.
As he gave more details about the new film, Howard paused for a while and asked: “Can we even say the name of the movie?”
A familiar furry hand that belongs to Solo’s Wookie best bud Chewbacca entered the frame with the title card of the movie that wrote: “Solo: A Star Wars Story”.
According to CNN, the anticipated film will star Aldrin Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo. It will be the story of the character’s origin.
“Solo” is the latest installment to the franchise that piloted with “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. The series features side stories of the cult-favorite George Lucas creation.
“Rogue One”, which earned $1 billion worldwide connected how Princess Leia was able to get hold of the blueprint of the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction, the Death Star.
Will this film fail to disappoint the raving fans over the rebirth of Star Wars attention? I guess we’d have to see for ourselves next year!
