The alleged gunman at the country music concert in Las Vegas was a ‘professional gambler,’ said a former neighbor.

Authorities say Stephen Paddock was a retired accountant who has a license to fly small aircraft and previously had no criminal record.

Police have identified Paddock as the gunman who opened fire on concertgoers from a hotel room in Las Vegas; killing at least 59 people and leaving more than 500 wounded in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

Reports also said that Paddock had at least 16 firearms in his hotel suite. He had been staying in the room since Sep.28

When police searched his home at a retirement community in Mesquite, Nevada, they found another 18 firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, explosives and electronics.

The US federal investigative bureau has also ruled out the possibility of links to international terrorism despite claims by groups calling themselves Islamic State or ISIS.
