Filipino students bag 23 medals at Math and Science Olympiad in Singapore

Making us proud once again!

Young Filipino students bagged 23 medals at the 14th International Mathematics and Science Olympiad for Primary School (IMSO) held from November 20-24 in Singapore.

The event which was participated by 21 countries was organized by the Singapore’s Ministry of Education and NUS High School of Math and Science.

According to the president of the Mathematics Trainers Guild Philippines (MTG) and Philippine delegation head Isidro Aguilar, the Filipino children won (2) gold, (5) silver and (4) bronze medals in the math division; and (8) silver and (4) bronze in the science division.
