MANILA, Philippines – Despite flip-flopping on one of his allegations against Supreme Court Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno, Atty. Larry Gadon said he nevertheless felt vindicated by the testimony of Associate Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro in House’s impeachment hearing — particularly on the issue involving the creation of the RCAO (Regional Court Administration Office) and JDO (Judiciary Decentralized Office).”

“What Justice de Castro has said in her testimony confirmed everything that I have stated in my complaint,” he told GMA News. “And not only that, she even clarified deeper into the incidents involving the creation of the RCAO and the JDO.”

De Castro assailed the creation of the two offices; saying they were done without the approval of the Supreme Court en banc.

Sereno’s camp, on the other hand, said their creation was regular and followed the internal processes of the high court.

For Gadon, however, De Castro’s testimony could be enough to ensure a successful impeachment against Sereno.

“In fact, sinasabi ko nga tapos na ‘yung boxing eh. Tinatamad na nga ko eh gusto ko na umuwi dahil I’ve already proven my point, with just one ground,” he said.

[In fact, I’m saying that the boxing is over. I’m even getting restless and I want go home because I’ve already proven my point, with just one ground.]

“This ground which was attested by Justice De Castro, I’m sure impeached na siya ditto [I’m sure she’ll be impeached],” he added.

Gadon also warned the top magistrate of more bombshells against her as the hearing goes on.

“In fact, by this time baka inatake na sa puso si Justice Sereno niyan [maybe Justice Sereno has suffered a heart attack],” he said.
