Kwek-kwek vendor’s daughter ranks 6th in September 2017 LET

It’s always inspiring to learn of someone earn her way up to achieve her goals!

A story of a “kwek-kwek” vendor and a tricycle driver’s daughter’s recent feat has made a lot of people believe that through hard work and determination, anything is possible.

Princes Bulaclac from Batangas ranked 6th in the exam for secondary level of September 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers, with a rate of 91.80 percent.

She said, speaking to ABS-CBN News, that she’s overwhelmed; she couldn’t even believe she made it to top 10.

Princes, who graduated from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños thanked everyone through a post she shared on Facebook.

As per a story shared by ABS-CBN News, she gives the credit to her hardworking parents who never cease to support her, specially in her studies.

Emma, her mother sells kwek-kwek or deep fried quail eggs, while her father Roberto drives a tricycle just so they could send her to school.

As parents, they are very proud and happy for what their daughter has achieved.

“I prayed to God that if I fare well on the exam, I want to give back and teach first,” Princess said as disclosed in the Kapamilya story by Kevin Dinglasan.

Princes is currently teaching in senior high school, and is hoping to get a master’s degree in the future.
