It’s been a while since television viewers started seeing actress Empress Schuck appearing on both GMA and ABS-CBN shows; playing both minor and major roles.

In an article written by Marah Ruiz of GMA News, it was disclosed that Schuck has finally explained why she has been doing projects in rival television networks.

“Since many have been asking, I’m a freelance artist. Meaning I can be seen anywhere unless I’m currently in a teleserye which I’m not. I hope you understand and it’s okay with you,” she said.

She said it is important for her to grab every opportunity while she is still young.

“We’re only young once. Grab every chance given to us. I wish that wherever you see me you’ll be happy for me. It’s nothing personal. Just like all of us, I only want to work and try to give the best that I can,” she expressed.

Just last Saturday, December 2, Schuck played the role of a woman diagnosed with human immunodeficiency virus on ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya:

Earlier, she also appeared in GMA’s Tadhana, where she played the role of an oversease Filipino worker who found her true love outside the Philippines:

Schuck is also expected to be part of Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral as Felicidad Aguinaldo.
