Amid bad weather condition, some local domestic flights have been cancelled on Sunday, December 24.
Though typhoon ‘Vinta’ has reportedly been nearing its exit out of the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Christmas eve, it still maintains its strength, continuously pouring moderate to heavy rains; thus, some flights have been cancelled.
Here are the following flights that were cancelled as per Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa):
5J 321 Manila-Legazpi
5J 322 Legazpi-Manila
The latest forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that ‘Vinta’ has intensified into a severe tropical storm threatening to make a landfall on Southern Palawan before it finally leaves the PAR.
According to state weather agency, the typhoon was last spotted 335 kilometers south southeast of Pagasa Island and was expected to exit PAR on December 24, either in the morning or afternoon.
