Meet Babeyboo, the adorable 2-year-old girl who is conquering life and is enjoying every bit of it.
Babeyboo is Anjolette Skyzx Dorado who hails from Davao City. Her parents Lisly and Anjo are both adventure junkies who love to hike, travel and go on epic adventures. When Babeyboo was born, it didn’t slow down them down; instead, they introduced their baby to the big wild world.
Since then, Babeyboo braved the heights and have slowly started to make a name in the mountaineering community.
Her first hike was when she was only 6 months old at Osmeña Peak in Cebu. Since then, the toddler, who is now 2 years old, have reached the 5 highest peaks of the Philippines: Mt. Apo, Mt. Dulang-dulang, Mt. Pulag, Mt Kitanglad and Mt. Kalatungan.
Babeyboo’s mother, Lisly, shared that “Mountain climbing has been our hobby and favorite outdoor activity. As outdoor enthusiasts, we want our kids to also love the things we do.”
She adds that their activities together nurture their love; “Our bonding as family will become stronger, love be firmer.”
The doting mother also knows that the outdoors will strengthen her child’s immunity against sickness, “It will also help Babeyboo become stronger in terms of immunity and become less sickly when faced with forces of nature.”
She‘s so proud of Babeyboo and hopes that she will become a “young steward of nature.”
And to add another feather to the little adventurer’s cap, she was recently featured in SuperBalita Davao as a young volunteer. When Davao was hit by Typhoon Vinta, Lisly volunteered to help pack goods in the relief program of the local government. She didn’t think twice over bringing Babeyboo to participate. Lisly shared that she couldn’t be any prouder of her little girl. She said, “Definitely super proud of her… Because even as a baby, I see the strength in her. She can endure talaga trips and climbing expeditions.”
