Justin Timberlake announced Tuesday the upcoming release of his first album in nearly five years. The American singer said there are more “personal” songs; inspired by his origins and his family.

“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but also, more than any album I’ve ever written, by where I come from,” the singer said in the video before he added: “it’s personal”.

Timberlake plans to release his new album, Man of the Woods, on February 2nd; two days before his planned performance at the top of the NFL Super Bowl show.

The singer announced the news with a short teaser detailing his thought process behind the album.

The 36-year-old hunk is married to actress Jessica Biel, 35, and they have a son, Silas, who was born in 2015.
