BBC Scotland broadcasts a documentary entitled “Love Unlimited: Polyamory in Scotland“, a documentary on polyamory. Polyamory is the concept that tries to normalize new forms of “open” love, in which a person has more than one relationship at the same time.

For some, monogamy is no longer seen as the best way of understanding human relationships.

Love Unlimited featured polyamorous relationships of many kinds; like the story of Noni, a young woman with two boyfriends.

“I just don’t see why I should artificially limit the amount of love that I put out into the world,” says Noni.

“I’m greedy, I like people liking me,” she added, as she explains her relationship with Oliver and Morgan.

Despite the challenges new research shows that overall satisfaction can actually be higher in polyamorous relationships. So how do you go about loving more than one person? And what can polyamory teach us all about happy healthy relationships?
