Young actress Alexa Ilacad, the other half of popular love team NLex, celebrated her 18th birthday with animals rescued by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
On Instagram, Ilacad and her fans club Alexanators shared some photos and videos during the actress’ special birthday celebration.
“Thank you for fulfilling my wish for my 18th birthday- which is to hold a simple thanksgiving celebration as I am just so grateful to the Lord for so many blessings!” she wrote.
Ilacad, the onscreen partner of actor Nash Aguas, is known for being a cat and dog lover.
“A memorable debut for me is one where I would get to spend my special day around neglected and rescued dogs and cats, who are the dearest to my heart,” she expressed.
She then thanked all the people who took part in preparing her birthday party for the animals that she love.
“I’m both surprised and amazed that there are wonderful, kind-hearted people who offered to take part in my simple celebration to make it extra special and memorable! I didn’t expect it to be so pretty for me & rewarding for my furry animal friends!” she said.
