A riot among prison gangs took place inside the Quezon City Jail on Sunday, leading to ten people getting injured.
Initial reports said the riot rose between the Commando and Sigue Sigue Sputnik groups.
Station Commander of the Quezon City Police District Station 10 Police Supt. Christian Dela Cruz said nine inmates and a policeman were injured in the incident.
According to Dela Cruz, injuries were due to gang arrows, stones, and glass.
The authorities ordered the visitors to leave the area to ensure their safety. Luckily, no one was hurt among them.
Cops arrived to help prevent the situation to getting worse.
Investigation is ongoing.
