On Instagram, Aquino said that she appreciates even the simplest gifts from people; sharing that being grateful is a trait that she inherited from her mom, late president Corazon Aquino.
“If there was one trait my mom made sure to really instill in me — it was to always be expressive in my gratitude. Hindi po ako nagsasawa sa flowers that I receive especially when they come with inspiring THANK YOUs from brands we’ve worked with who wanted me to know my efforts were greatly valued,” she wrote.
The actress-host also shared that she is contented with all the love that she has been getting from the people who value her existence.
“Yes — it would be pleasant to receive flowers from a special someone, but life is fair — I get so much affirmation from people I work for and so much love from my sons that I was able to tell my Ate the other night that I’m perfectly okay and contented on my own because I can embrace what’s here and now,” she expressed.
