Soldiers who are considered ‘heroes’ that set Marawi free from terrorists spent their rest day in a water park in Pampanga.
Together with more than 100 soldiers are their respective families who were separated from them for months during the war in Marawi.
“It’s a good break, relaxation for our troops,” said Lt. Col. Michael Lugtu of the Philippine Army.
The kids of the soldiers were the happiest during the treat, as they got to spend their time with their parents who were away from them for a very long time to fight for the people.
The 10-hectare water park is located inside Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines. It is the country’s newest and most modern water theme park with over 25 attractions.
