During ‘It’s Showtime’ episode on March 17, Visayas contender Reggie Tortugo performed the hit song “Locked Out Of Heaven,” by Bruno Mars, as disclosed by PEP.
The hosts, Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro were the ones who interviewed Reggie after his performance. They teased him when they noticed that he was being too stiff.
“Ang tipid-tipid mong gumalaw. Mas sumasayaw pa yung mga hurado sa iyo,” Vice Ganda teasingly said.
[You don’t move that much. Even the judges dance more than you do.]
Then the hosts asked Reggie to sing again his song but to add more dance moves. The contender obeyed as he was told instructions from the comedians on how to loosen up on stage while performing.
Vhong asked Reggie if he is shy then he replied answering that he is. Vice Ganda again teased him saying that he shouldn’t have joined the competition.
Vice even said that the contender should have a ‘Pia Wurtzbach – confidently beautiful mindset.’
“Cute ka pa man din. Meron kang Alden na itsura,” Vice Ganda added. [You are cute though. You have Alden in your image.]
Vhong agreed to Vice and pointed out the contender’s dimple, which Alden also is famous of having. Alden Richards is a co-host of the rival show of It’s Showtime, GMA-7’s Eat Bulaga.
Turning again to Reggie, Vice jokingly said that his face is Alden, but as a whole, he is Julius Babao.
Meanwhile, at the 48th Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Entertainment Awards last year, Vice Ganda was able to take a selfie with Alden Richards and posted it on his Instagram stories, as disclosed by Inquirer.
