Three men suspected of being involved in illegal d***s and gun-for-hire activities were k****d in a shootout with cops in Parang town in Maguindanao on Monday, April 16.
The slain suspects were identified as Abib Sarotsong, Acero Kibab and Todto Pangalian. They were k****d during a shootout with police who were conducting operation against wanted criminals in Brgy. Gumagadong Calawag.
Parang town chief of police Supt. Ibrahim Jambiran said his men flagged down the suspects aboard a motorcycle at a checkpoint around 11 am.
But the suspects resisted arrest and opened fire at the officers; prompting the policemen to shoot back. All three were k****d in the exchange of fire.
Recovered from the three suspects were two .45 caliber handguns and ammunition.
Further police investigation revealed Sarotsong, Kibaba and Pangalian were hired killers involved in illegal d***s, murder and frustrated murder.
