In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Gerald Anderson admitted that he and girlfriend Bea Alonzo had a “simple misunderstanding.”

This developed after rumors circulated that their relationship was on the rocks after his girlfriend-actress unfollowed him and deleted all their photos together on social media.

“It was a simple misunderstanding. Naayos po namin personally and ‘yun po ‘yung imporante, to move on from this,” Anderson was quoted as saying in a report published by ABS-CBN News.

[It was a simple misunderstanding. We have personally fixed it and that is important, to move on from this.]

In that interview, Anderson also answered for Pia Wurtzbach (his leading-lady in the movie “My Perfect You”) when the former Miss Universe titleholder was asked to comment on the matter.

Aside from Anderson, Alonzo also unfollowed Wurtzbach on social media as she also deleted the photo of the “My Perfect You” poster when she previously helped promote the film.

“Pia has been nothing but sobrang professional and sobrang sarap kasama. Sa first lead niya, first day pa lang, napabilib na ako sa kanya. We are just happy with the outcome. Sa personal life naman namin, okay na okay,” Anderson further explained.

[Pia has been nothing but professional and fun to be with. In her first lead, I was impressed. In our personal life, we are okay.]

On the other hand, Wurtzbach said her relationship with race car driver Marlon Stockinger is also doing well. Proof of which was when the beauty queen recently organized a surprise birthday party for her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, their movie was a resounding success as it reportedly earned over P136 million worldwide.

Now on its fourth week, the movie is still showing in over 100 theaters in the country.
