- Ara Mina will hold a fund-raising fun run with a concert for the benefit of children with Down Syndrome
- It will be on May 27 at the Philippine Arena
- Her foundation, the “Ara Mina Foundation” had its first project back in 2007
Ara Mina continued her advocacy in helping children with Down Syndrome. The actress shared the cause is close to her hear because her sister, Mina Princess Klenk — or Batching, has Down Syndrome.
This year, Ara will hold a fund-raising fun run, “tAra Na Sa ARenaA 2018” on May 27 at the Philippine Arena. It will help fund projects and raise more awareness about the genetic disorder.
She shared that she has invited some of her friends for this year’s event. She told Push, “Mostly mga kaibigan ko. Sina LJ Moreno at ang buong family niya, Say Alonzo, Christine Bersola-Babao, Diana Zubiri, Jenny Miller, Jessa Zaragosa, Dingdong Avanzado.”
Aside from the fun run, there will be a concert at the Philippine arena with performances from some of Ara’s friends, including Martin Nievera.
Ara invited everyone who wish to run and have fun for a cause to register online at www.runrio.com or on other registration sites such as Toby’s Sports, Hazelberry Café and Philippine Arena.
