Lion Air, an Indonesian low-cost airline, dislodged a passenger after he cracked a bomb joke that scared some passengers and caused them to jump out of the plane on Monday, May 28.
The flight was supposed to depart from Supadio International Airport, Pontianak, West Kalimantan bound for Soekarno – Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.
The passenger whom they called “FS” allegedly did a bomb joke inside the flight because he got mad at one of the flight attendants who moved his bag in the passenger cabin.

According to Asia One, his joke has alarmed several passengers which led them to jump out the plane’s emergency door. Some of the passengers suffered injuries after falling through the plane’s engine.

At around 6:40 p.m., FS was escorted out of the plane by aviation security officers, according to Supadio Airport operational manager Bernard Munthe. He was then brought to Pontianak police station for further investigation.
Munthe added that even before some passengers panicked and exited the plane, the flight attendant had already informed the pilot about the joke and had ordered the passengers to calmly exit the plane but some of them instead forced their way out through the emergency door and hurt themselves.
