Late Senator Edgardo Angara’s grandson Manolo Angara has withdrawn from a tournament in Bangkok to deliver a touching eulogy.
On Instagram, Tootsy Angara, wife of Senator Sonny Angara, shared a photo of Manolo while reading his tribute to his grandfather.
“Manolo worked so hard all year to be sent to the ITF Asian Tennis Tournament in Bangkok and one week into it,” she wrote on the caption of the picture she uploaded.
“He got the news about his Lolo. He immediately packed his bags and withdrew from the tournament to be home with his family and delivered a touching eulogy,” she added.
In a separate post, Tootsy greeted Manolo and told him that he will have his own guardian angel watching over him.
“Happy, happy 14th birthday, dear Manolo. He says his lolo never missed attending his birthdays or celebrating milestones in his life. This is the first time he didn’t show up,” she said.
“Kuya, you will have your own guardian angel watching over you. We love you so so much!” she further wrote.
