- Footage appears to show a look-a-like of the Loch Ness monster in Gloucester, England
- It shows what looks like a long-necked figure wading in the water
A man from Gloucester, England allegedly captured a footage of a “Loch Ness Monster” wading through a canal.
Josh Hawkins, 25, reportedly captured the video from an apartment window overlooking the water, which shows what seems to be a long-necked figure making ripples in the River Severn.
“I was watching the FA Cup final and I looked out the window and saw it,” he said via IB Times. “It looked like it was moving.”
“I thought it looked like the Loch Ness monster,” he added.
Hawkins called his friends and asked them to help him identify the strange moving object.
“We all just had the same idea – that it looked like the Loch Ness monster. It could be a relative.”
Of course skeptics believe that the Loch Ness Monster does not exist and these sightings are usually just objects or props.
The Loch Ness Monster or Nessie is a mythical lake monsters from a Scottish folklore inhabiting the Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. It is often described as being large in size, with a long neck and one or more humps protruding from the water.
Popular interest and belief in the creature has varied since it was brought to worldwide attention in 1933 whereina local newspaper in Inverness reported that an enormous dinosaur-like creature had been spotted in one of Scotland’s largest freshwater lakes; sparking one of modern history’s most enduring urban legend.
