TNT star guard Terrence Romeo admits that he’s been extra careful after his left foot injury.
Romeo hurt his left ankle when he accidentally stepped on Renz Palma’s foot during TNT’s game against Blackwater last Friday. He only got to play for 15 minutes finishing with 12 points.
During an interview with ABS-CBN, the professional athlete shared his excitement to play again together with his Gilas Pilipinas teammates in a selection of Mindanao players in the first leg of the PBA all-star.
Regardless of his condition, Romeo said that he only needs to recover fast to get back in shape. He also explained that getting hurt is just part of the game.
In fact, Romeo showed no signs of being in pain during a practice game at the Davao del Sur Coliseum on Tuesday.
“Para sa’kin more on mapasaya namin ‘yung mga tao. We’ll make sure na gagawin ang best para maging masaya ‘yung laban,” said Romeo.
[For me we’re more on making the people happy. We’ll make sure that we give our best for the game to be exciting.]
