The comedian recalled and shared his past experiences
Many were moved by the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contender Janine Berdin’s rendition of “With a Smile” by South Border. Even judges including “It’s Showtime” hosts couldn’t help but become emotional all throughout her performance.
Vice Ganda kept on complimenting Janine and even shared his personal story and relates himself to the song while telling his experiences.
Anne Curtis and Vice both agreed that Janine is a good representation of today’s millennial.
“Inspiration din talaga siya sa youth at this point,” Anne said. [She’s really an inspiration to the youth at this point.]
Vice later on expressed how touched he was and that the song went through his heart as if Janine is his little sister trying to comfort him while delivering the song. He also shared the times when he visits his psychiatrist and told him the need to be healed from the past.
“Growing up I felt like I was growing up alone and no one was there to tell me na, ‘Totoy okay lang’ okay lang ako na magkamali [Totoy, it’s okay to commit mistakes],” the comedian shared.
“Parang ikaw ‘yung kapatid ko na maliit na nakikita ‘yung kapatid niya na sinasabi na ‘kuya okay lang, okay kuya Totoy na bakla ka,” Vice added while referring to Janine.
[You were like my little sister that sees her sibling and saying, ‘It’s okay, Totoy it’s okay if you’re gay.]

It wasn’t long ago when Vice revealed that he experienced burnout and feeling empty despite his fame and glamorous life to the point that he wanted to leave the showbiz industry.
He even told the management about his decisions on leaving out of exhaustion.
But today, Vice seemed recharged and inspired to continue and even shared that he has set his mind to be happy.
He said that he had found his purpose and that is to make people laugh and be inspired in everyday struggles.
