On President Rodrigo Duterte’s arrival in Manila late Tuesday night from his 3-day visit in South Korea, he said he vomited during the flight home due to migraine.
“You know, I puked in the . . . because of pain,” Duterte said to the press upon landing in NAIA.
“That’s why I wasn’t able to go around the plane. Kukumustahin ko sana ‘yung mga mostly Filipino passengers.” [I would have wanted to greet the mostly Filipino passengers.]
Duterte took a commercial plane from Seoul.
He said he already asked Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque to apologize to the Pinoy passengers.
“I had to ask senior Roque to apologize in behalf of me na gusto kong umikot para lang [I wanted to roam to greet them]. . . Most of them are OFWs,” he said.
