- Kyline Alcantara proves she’s a crowd drawer during mall tours
- The actress had no choice but to perform on a still escalator due to flocking of followers and fans
- Her mall show in SM Savemore Market in Apalit, Pampanga on June 16, Saturday, was a clear sample of fandom
The teen actress, Kyline Alcantara, is known for her multi-layered performance in Kambal, Karibal which earned her the “La Nueva Kontrabida” title. Her video compilations of musical.ly on Youtube also made her an internet sensation.
She’s been conducting mall tours and one of the most talked about was the one she attended in SM Savemore Market in Apalit, Pampanga on June 16 where countless fans and followers flocked to see her and watch her perform.
On her Instagram account, she posted a video of her as she performed on a escalator; thanking everyone, specifically her ‘sunflowers’ who attended: “Thank you so much to all of my sunflowers here in Pampanga!”
Why did she perform on a still escalator?
It’s because she could no longer make her way to the makeshift stage where she was supposed to perform — owing to the huge crowd that gathered to see her up close.
Seemed like the majority wanted to have selfies with the lovely young star who’s becoming more and more popular.
A video was shared by JMYouTubeChannel showing just how jampacked the venue was:
The management of SM City have, apparently, already anticipatted the huge crowd called ‘sunflower’ fans of Kyline and have added security personnel to ensure her safety.
However, the mall show had to be cut short to avoid more unpleasant incidents, because the thick crowd led to some people fainting.
The management further disclosed that Kyline comes close to Daniel Padilla when it comes to mall events crowds.
She also graced the opening of Save More Antipolo Xentro Mall at 10 am, June 21, and as expected, it was jampacked.
A live video during the meet-and-greet was shared on her Facebook page.
Meanwhile, you may watch Kyline again on Saturday in a “Magpakailanman” episode replay hosted by Mel Tiangco.
